personality: topaz point is a VERY sarcastic pony, and I mean sarcastic. from the way he speaks to the words he uses makes him at times very ironic and annoyed at others "stupidity". though through his sassy foreground lives a very positive cheery pony, his positive attitude and soothing intentions help calm all of his fellow miners from thinking of the worst case scenario. topaz also is a very humorous pony, although he isn't a comedian his jokes can get a giggle or two out of a few pony's. yet although he can take jokes he is very quick to start a fight, mostly because he obviously mocks the person until the opponent or he throws the first punch.

cutiemark story: topaz was a pony who always loved the idea of finding buried treasure, and his dream was realized when hes mother (gidget) and his dad (sunset gleam) took him to a museum where little filly's could find their own fossils. yet topaz couldn't be fooled by the plastic trinkets and soon searched for more. until, when walking home from school, he tripped over a rock on the dirt path and after investigating the rock it turned out to be a gem stone (quarts). topaz was instantly taken by how beautiful the gem was and after showing off his find to his parents his cutiemark appeared.
